About The Celtic Willow Bookstore
A passion for Books, Trees and Celtic Culture
After working in the energy industry for over a decade, owner Jamie Vail decided that a stroke of bad luck was actually a chance for a new beginning. The Celtic Willow got its name from the celtic zodiac. Born in May, the month of the willow, Jamie has always felt a connection to nature, trees and her strong Irish roots. When looking for a name for her bookstore, she found that the willow symbolizes femininity, wisdom, rebirth, vitality and the rhythm of the circle. It is known for its ability to bend and not break.
The one thing that we all know to be true is there is always need in our communities. Living in one of the best little towns in Pennsylvania, the one thing she noticed was that there was no bookstore within a ten mile radius. After doing some local surveying, she realized that what brought her joy was exactly what this area and its residents were craving. At The Celtic Willow bookstore, we will strive to support the local community and its needs as we grow, and we look forward to providing a place that provides a comfortable atmosphere for all. Though the perfect brick and mortar location is not yet available, our website will be kept up to date with all available inventory. Local delivery is available for West Reading and Wyomissing residents.
